What gives Sturgeon?

Nicola Sturgeon has amassed huge support simply on the basis of a Scottish independence. Yet she also seems to be encouraging a racist direction in the country. 

Watching the TV you see Borris and Co, discussing the UK’s figures. Watching the stats for a ‘United’ kingdom and seeing what is happening in our immediate areas, helps us understand the situation we are in.

What shocks me is after being in Scotland recently, friends and family living there too, Nicola Sturgeon has without a doubt taken this crisis as a way to treat the country as an independent ‘state’ and put herself directly on the throne!

Scottish tv channels all show only Scottish information. With party members releasing information such as army bases being set up in parks (observed  personally on my last visit as being empty) and constantly referring to the UK as having a separate battle against the Coronavirus. 

What’s frustrating is that this woman has put herself front and centre of this epidemic and has not stuck to her role. Her role currently is to report what Downing Street says she can report. She cant release anything more than she is told. She specifically set her press conferences to be ahead of the UK’s press conference as to appear to have come to the decisions herself before the rest of the UK

People in Scotland often comment on these reports on social media and shockingly none of them have an real knowledge of anything beyond their border! I would like to point out that a majority of the commenters are Scottish anti Sturgeon folk. I’m specifically discussing the SNP die hards.

Amusingly, After a meeting at Downing Street, a decision was made to close schools for the foreseeable future. Ms Sturgeon made straight for the cameras before 3pm announcing all schools closing Friday! Mr Johnson’s press conference at 5pm echoed these words and the information was out. 

Yet I see videos online with Nicola Sturgeon competing with ‘the UK’ claiming to have closed schools before us, making leading decisions and addressing all the relevant fields to be sure they can beat this ‘invisible killer’.

A good friend once told me they loudest person will get the most attention’ and Ms Sturgeon, you’re giving me a headache far worse than my dads Genesis CD playing on a Sunday morning banging away with the hoover while I’m shaking off a hangover!

She led the SNP to an independence vote that she said would be respected whichever way it goes. Once the results came in and she realised she wasn’t going to be the queen of Scotland she fell towards plan B, which is strangely similar to plan A, but louder. 

Ignoring estimates or potential mock votes online which lets be honest, aren’t as accurate as we’d love to believe. Let’s pretend Scotland’s vote for independence was based on simply that, their independence, can we not use these votes for their intended purpose, to vote?! Have we not learned anything from the Brexit vote?! (Which one?)

I often wonder why these people make such large waves. But I do see so often how our voters think. It’s clear that so many people like to believe in a conspiracy theory. I recently watched a conversation on my local Facebook page between people genuinely suggesting that the coronavirus vaccinations be made ‘mandatory’ in a sort of ‘cull’. As if people really believe the government want to kill off a large percentage of the population! 

The government exists for the idiots of the UK. I mean this with no directed offence. But when it rained some of us looked up with our mouths open and drowned, the rest of us don’t. Because of this the government exists as a way to make decisions for the smaller selection of rain catchers. While the majority of us get on with our lives paying our taxes and feeding our families.

Anyhoo, Slight deviation

Ms Sturgeon, 

I respect a woman who can strive for the leadership you have. You’re proving to women all around the world there’s no such thing as a mans job. And for that I tip my hat. But for the sake of solidarity and a genuine United Kingdom I beg that you dial it back and join forces! Enough of this ‘them’ and ‘us’ rubbish. 

Instead of pushing for independence, why don’t you focus more on the problems in your party?

You don’t have the power to leave the UK without permission from Westminster, stop acting like you can lockdown your borders while ours are open. You don’t make these decisions, You’re part of the United Kingdom, which is run by Number 10.
